Hypnosis feels like the natural state you pass through right before falling asleep, when you are neither fully awake nor fully asleep. Here is how I describe the brainwave states to my clients. Beta is your active, conscious waking state. Alpha is light meditation or light hypnosis. Theta is the deep trance where past lives are accessed, often accompanied by fluttering eyes. Delta is deep sleep or profound trance. Unlike sleep, where your conscious mind switches off, in hypnosis and meditation you remain fully aware of your surroundings. The difference between the two is direction. Meditation is about stillness, while hypnosis is active and goal oriented, with a conversation running the whole time.

Yes, in my experience a mother's intense emotions during pregnancy can leave a deep energetic imprint on the baby in the womb. One woman I worked with had carried an underlying anxiety her whole life and could never trace it to anything in her own story. When we revisited the womb under hypnosis, she found her mother in a state of constant fear and survival mode while pregnant, because her parents had recently fled the Holocaust. Once she could see that the fear belonged to her mother's history and not to her own modern body, she was able to separate the two and release it. In my experience partners frequently agree to come into a life together and even choose who will leave first, so that the loss becomes a catalyst for the other person's spiritual awakening and growth. Normal daily medication has not stopped my clients from going into hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural brainwave state your mind already visits every day, and people arrive at sessions on all kinds of prescriptions and still go deep. You keep taking whatever you are prescribed exactly as you normally do. On the rare occasion that a session is interrupted or does not get going the way we want, my policy is simply to stop and reschedule another session at no extra charge, so there is nothing to lose by giving it a try. The easiest tell is how the message arrives. Your own logical thoughts involve active thinking, weighing and planning, and you can feel yourself doing the work. A message from your spirit guides or Higher Self lands all at once as a sudden clear hunch or a knowing, and my clients describe it the same way again and again, saying something like this just popped into my head. It arrives without effort and feels distinct from thinking. Learning to trust that line of communication without arguing with it is a real milestone in spiritual development. At the end of your session I teach you a self hypnosis anchor so you can settle into the relaxed state where those messages are easiest to recognize and trust on your own.

They hold a high bar, and you formally apply rather than simply signing up. They look for at least 200 hours of formal hypnosis and regression training, hypnotherapy and past life regression training completed through an approved instructor, and real experience in the chair. That last one is the part people underestimate. They want one to two years of active practice and at least 40 documented past life regression sessions with your own clients before you enroll.
