Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy, or QHHT, is a very special form of Past Life Regression. It was developed and refined by the late Dolores Cannon, who spent decades working with clients and documenting what she found. A QHHT session involves exploring past lifetimes and then connecting with what Dolores called the Subconscious, the part of you that holds all knowledge and has the ability to facilitate healing. I had the privilege of studying with Dolores Cannon from 2008 to 2012 in Northwest Arkansas.
The defining feature of QHHT is what happens in that second part of the session. After exploring past lives, the client connects directly with a higher intelligence that can answer deeply personal questions and, when it is appropriate and possible, initiate healing. The range of what has been addressed in these sessions, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, is extraordinary.
Dolores Cannon was a remarkable woman and a genuine pioneer. I studied with her for several years and the time I spent learning directly from her is something I carry into every QHHT session I facilitate. The photo above was taken during one of those training events in Arkansas.
What Dolores built over decades of research and thousands of sessions is a body of work that continues to help people access healing and understanding that goes far beyond what most forms of therapy can offer. I am honored to carry that work forward.
What Sets My Approach Apart
Dolores taught many students over the years, and she only required prior hypnotherapy training to take her classes for the first few years she was teaching. That change was by design in some ways. She wanted the work to be accessible. But what became clear over time is that a large percentage of those students were not continuing to practice, and the ones who did often found themselves in session without the foundational skills to handle what came up.
I have worked with a number of those students. They came to me already certified in Dolores' method but knowing something was missing. After working through my Hypnotherapy Training, they went back to their QHHT sessions and found them transformed. Deeper. More reliable. The method was the same but the foundation under it was solid, and that makes all the difference.
One story tells you why that foundation matters. A student of mine once had a QHHT session with another practitioner, and at the very end, asked if there was anything else, she found herself in a cave, hanging from a meathook. The practitioner did not know what to do, so she counted her out, bringing the physical and emotional trauma of that scene right out with her. It stayed with her for a year, until she came to take my Past Life Regression training and I used her session for the class demo. We released all of that physical and emotional energy right there. The method did not fail her. The missing hypnosis training did.
When I first took Dolores' training in 2008 it was called Dolores Cannon's Advanced Past Life Regression Technique. I studied with her through 2012, and those years gave me something that goes beyond technique. I understood what she was trying to accomplish at a level that only comes from being in the room with someone while they work.
My sessions begin differently than most QHHT sessions you may have heard about. Rather than moving directly into past life exploration, I start by revisiting happy childhood memories. It is the same approach I use in Past Life Regression, and it serves the same purpose. In fact, I originally learned this from Michael Newton in the Life Between Lives training in 2007. He liked to call this mental stretching exercises.
Starting with childhood memories gives you time to settle into hypnosis gradually and build the depth of trance that makes the deeper work possible. By the time we move into the past life portion of the session, you are ready for it in a way that simply does not happen when you start cold.
Didn't Dolores Cannon Say QHHT Should Not Be Done Online?
Yes, she did, and even now, more than a decade after her passing, people read what she wrote, hear what she said, and ask me about it. So let me answer it the way I do on a discovery call. Dolores was not big on technology. It took her years to move from cassette tapes to a voice recorder, and the online sessions of her era were not the online sessions of today.
The argument was that if a client is in a traumatic moment and the connection drops, they could be stuck in that space. Here is what my years in her classes showed me. The training did not teach what to do when a client lands in a traumatic situation, so the connection was never the real issue. A practitioner who only learned QHHT never learned hypnosis, and it is the hypnosis training that prepares you for whatever arises, online or in person.
My clients are prepared before we begin. If you need a restroom break, you tell me and I help you come up enough to take care of business. If a technical issue comes up, you come up enough on your own to deal with the situation, and if all else fails, we reconnect on the phone to wrap up any loose ends. When a client is prepared and understands what to do, there are no problems.
I started working with clients online in 2009 using Skype and have continued ever since. Everything that can be accomplished in person can be accomplished online, with one exception. In a physically present session I can offer a respectful, grounding touch to help a client go deeper into the hypnotic state. Online that option is not available. And many clients find they actually prefer working from home, because the familiar environment helps them relax, and comfort is one of the most important factors in reaching the depth needed for a successful session.
How Do I Write My Questions for a QHHT Session?
Keep your list to one page, a page and a half at most, and group the questions by category such as physical health, relationships and life purpose. The most important thing is how you phrase them. Ask How and What questions rather than Why questions, because why questions do not provide you with the answer you are really looking for from your Higher Self. What do I need to do to improve my career gets a practical, actionable answer.
Focusing your questions on action and resolution is what draws out the deep, useful answers my clients come away with. The commonly asked questions on the QHHT preparation page give you an idea of what you can ask. They are examples only, and your list should be about you and your situation.
If you have had a QHHT session elsewhere that felt incomplete or left you with unresolved questions, I have worked with many clients in exactly that situation. A discovery call is the best way to talk through what happened and what might be possible.
A $100 deposit schedules your session, and the balance is due at least 24 hours before we begin.
