Yes, in my experience chronic tightness or discomfort in the throat and neck area often connects to an unhealed past life event, something like a neck injury, a hanging or a throat wound. Emotionally, a tight throat can represent a lifetime of held back truth, a deep fear of being wrong or of speaking out. In hypnosis we go to the initial sensitizing event and release the trapped energy.
