If you are blocked or struggling to regress, I set the past life work aside and move the session into another hypnosis process such as Parts Therapy or Gestalt Therapy, and those approaches tend to bring up rich material of their own. I can also use alternative entry techniques like travel in your imagination, the infinite pool or the sphere of possibilities to establish a direct connection with your spirit guides or your Higher Self. The good news is that Zoom records the entire session automatically, so you receive the audio afterward and can share it with your spouse if you choose. Asking why they are difficult tends to keep you stuck in a victim pattern, so I coach my clients to rephrase and ask what they need to do to have a better relationship or to learn the underlying soul lesson. Under hypnosis, connecting with your Higher Self reveals the pre birth soul contracts you made with your family. That perspective is what allows you to release resentment, establish healthy emotional boundaries and find deep peace. In my experience the relationship often softens once you understand what the two of you agreed to work on together.

That deep, hard to explain feeling of not belonging on Earth is common among spiritually sensitive souls, the people sometimes called Starseeds. In my experience, some of them have lived previous lifetimes on other planets or in other dimensions. One client of mine went to a life where both suns in the sky were blue and the beings had blue skin and long fingers. Under hypnosis you can access those off planet memories, or recognize a past life imprint that was placed to help a newer soul adapt to life here.
