Feeling like you are making it up is incredibly common, and it happens because your subconscious uses your creative imagination to translate memories into words. So my instruction is simple. If it feels like you are making it up, keep making it up and go with the flow without stopping to analyze it. Analyzing is what pulls you out. After the session we look at the experience together, objectively. Genuine hypnotic recall carries an emotional depth and physical responses, tears for instance, that the conscious mind cannot easily force or fake. Clients often realize in that debrief that what felt like imagination in the moment came with feelings they had no way to manufacture on purpose.

I feel that I connect with my own guides, as well as others in spirit, during sessions, and one way I do that is through my pendulum and sometimes muscle testing. I cannot say for sure where the answers come from. It may be my guides, your guides, the Masters of Light I have written about on the blog, or another guide who is a guide to one of your guides, but there is a connection, and the answers come. During an active session they let me quickly double check information, verify the exact identity of the spiritual guides or attachments present, and confirm that an energetic block, a negative contract or an earthbound soul attachment has fully cleared before we move forward. Think of it as a second line on the phone. The answers come through your voice first, and these tools give me a fast, reliable way to check them.

In my experience, the setbacks, the confusion and the stretches of feeling lost are often part of the plan your soul made before you were born, placed there to teach you specific lessons. Normal daily medication has not stopped my clients from going into hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural brainwave state your mind already visits every day, and people arrive at sessions on all kinds of prescriptions and still go deep. You keep taking whatever you are prescribed exactly as you normally do. On the rare occasion that a session is interrupted or does not get going the way we want, my policy is simply to stop and reschedule another session at no extra charge, so there is nothing to lose by giving it a try.
