Do you review the session with me afterward?

Yes, and the review starts before you even come out of hypnosis. Immediately after you cross over at the end of the past life, I conduct a thorough past life review while you are still in a relaxed state. That is where you identify any physical carryovers, clear old soul vows and process the lessons. After you wake we complete a debriefing talk to go over what was uncovered. I record every session and deliver an audio copy to you. My suggestion is to listen to the recording with a notebook in hand, because there is typically more in it than you remember, and writing it down is how the insights integrate into your life.

Should I sit up or lie down for my session?

Sit upright, propped up with several pillows in bed or relaxed in an easy chair, sofa or recliner with good neck support. I steer clients away from lying flat because your brain is deeply programmed to associate lying flat in bed with deep, unconscious sleep. During trance you stay actively awake and conversational so you can answer my questions, and sitting upright keeps your physical body from accidentally drifting off into normal sleep. If that happens I have a wakeup call to bring you back, and it is simpler to avoid the detour. Comfort matters, so arrange whatever supports your neck and lets you settle in for a few hours without shifting around.

Can a past life cause neck or throat tightness?

Yes. In my experience, long standing tight spots, discomfort or throat chakra blocks are frequently carryovers of past life injuries such as strangulation, throat wounds or hangings. Your modern body holds onto that trauma as a phantom physical trigger. Under hypnosis I use release techniques to locate and examine the death scene or the injury from a safe, detached observer perspective, so you see it without reliving it. Realizing the trauma belongs exclusively to a past life lets the body set the physical trigger down. Clients often tell me the tightness eases during the review itself, and that they finally have an explanation for something no one had been able to account for.

How do I understand my psychic or intuitive gifts?

Those intuitive flashes, hunches and psychic knowings are often messages your spirit guides or Higher Self are dropping into your mind. Under hypnosis, clients discover that what they had been writing off as random thoughts, odd coincidences or their brain doing something weird is actually real spiritual guidance. From there we work on trusting it. I teach self hypnosis anchors and progressive relaxation so you can quiet the logical, analytical part of your mind on your own. With practice, many people learn to hear these signals comfortably, recognize them when they arrive and trust them enough to navigate their lives by them. Understanding the gift is the first step, and using it well is the second.

Asking why all the bad happened tends to keep you stuck in a victim pattern, so I invite my clients to ask a different question. What do I need to do to move forward? How can I grow from this? Those questions open doors.
