Sit upright, propped up with several pillows in bed or relaxed in an easy chair, sofa or recliner with good neck support. I steer clients away from lying flat because your brain is deeply programmed to associate lying flat in bed with deep, unconscious sleep. During trance you stay actively awake and conversational so you can answer my questions, and sitting upright keeps your physical body from accidentally drifting off into normal sleep. If that happens I have a wakeup call to bring you back, and it is simpler to avoid the detour. Comfort matters, so arrange whatever supports your neck and lets you settle in for a few hours without shifting around.

Empaths are highly sensitive people who act like energetic sponges, soaking up the heavy emotional baggage of everyone around them and holding onto it. Over time that constant absorption can turn into emotional overload and real physical tension, and many empaths describe their sensitivity as both a superpower and a burden. Learning to clear and protect your own energy field is the key, and there are specific grounding and shielding techniques made for empaths. I share those tools during your private session and we fit them to you, so you leave knowing how to keep your boundaries comfortably in place. Clients often tell me the difference is that they can be with people again without carrying everyone's feelings home.

Like all of my sessions, a Life Between Lives session begins with a visit to several happy childhood memories, followed by some time exploring the womb experience before birth. From there, we continue into a brief past life to deepen your trance state. Once that foundation is established, I guide you through the death transition of that lifetime and into the spiritual realm between lives. In this space, you may encounter your spirit guides, your soul group, and a council of wise beings who can offer profound guidance about your current life purpose and soul contracts. The session is recorded so you can revisit it many times.

I feel that I connect with my own guides, as well as others in spirit, during sessions, and one way I do that is through my pendulum and sometimes muscle testing. I cannot say for sure where the answers come from. It may be my guides, your guides, the Masters of Light I have written about on the blog, or another guide who is a guide to one of your guides, but there is a connection, and the answers come. During an active session they let me quickly double check information, verify the exact identity of the spiritual guides or attachments present, and confirm that an energetic block, a negative contract or an earthbound soul attachment has fully cleared before we move forward. Think of it as a second line on the phone. The answers come through your voice first, and these tools give me a fast, reliable way to check them.

The easiest tell is how the message arrives. Your own logical thoughts involve active thinking, weighing and planning, and you can feel yourself doing the work. A message from your spirit guides or Higher Self lands all at once as a sudden clear hunch or a knowing, and my clients describe it the same way again and again, saying something like this just popped into my head. It arrives without effort and feels distinct from thinking. Learning to trust that line of communication without arguing with it is a real milestone in spiritual development. At the end of your session I teach you a self hypnosis anchor so you can settle into the relaxed state where those messages are easiest to recognize and trust on your own.

We come to Earth to experience specific challenges and learn crucial soul lessons, and before you incarnate you make pre birth agreements with other members of your soul group to help you grow. If you need to learn a difficult lesson like forgiveness, you might recruit a close, loving soul friend to play a negative role in your life, being mean to you or acting as an antagonist. Who would agree to that? Only someone who loves you very much. Recognizing these pre birth soul contracts in a session helps you shift your perspective. My clients often find they can release anger and view their difficult relationships with deep love and compassion once they see the agreement underneath.
