Yes. In my experience, long standing tight spots, discomfort or throat chakra blocks are frequently carryovers of past life injuries such as strangulation, throat wounds or hangings. Your modern body holds onto that trauma as a phantom physical trigger. Under hypnosis I use release techniques to locate and examine the death scene or the injury from a safe, detached observer perspective, so you see it without reliving it. Realizing the trauma belongs exclusively to a past life lets the body set the physical trigger down. Clients often tell me the tightness eases during the review itself, and that they finally have an explanation for something no one had been able to account for.

Your soul is a large, advanced energy field, and the human body can only hold a small part of that intensity. So when you are in the womb, typically somewhere between three and six months of pregnancy, only a small percentage of your soul's energy connects with the developing body to form your human personality. The rest stays in the non physical realm as your Higher Self, watching over you with a broad, protective perspective for your whole lifetime. That is why, in my framework, you can reach your Higher Self so readily in hypnosis. It is the larger part of you, and it has been there all along, before the body and beyond it.

On the day itself, keep your regular morning coffee or tea if you drink it daily, because caffeine withdrawal can bring on a headache right when you want to be relaxed. Just limit the amount so you do not arrive feeling jittery. Go easy on liquids right before we start too, so you are not needing constant restroom breaks in the middle of a past life. Beyond that, my clients do best when they come in curious and rested rather than trying to make anything happen. The preparation is simple on purpose.

Intense, irrational likes and dislikes are very often carryovers from previous lives. An obsession with the Victorian era, a strong aversion to a particular culture, a refusal to watch anything medieval like Game of Thrones, these tend to have a story behind them. Your soul carries cellular memories of where you have lived and how you died. In my experience an obsession usually points to a comforting lifetime where you were happy and fulfilled, while a severe aversion typically marks a past life of real suffering in that region or era, imprisonment, trauma, or a hard death. A regression lets you go back and see where the feeling comes from.

Connecting with your Higher Self is part of the Quantum Healing Hypnosis session, and it is one of the most natural parts of the work, typically from your very first one. To prepare, you write a list of the personal questions that matter most to you. Once you are in a deep hypnotic state, the Theta brainwave frequency, your logical, analytical thoughts step aside. Then I speak directly to your Higher Self and ask it to answer through your voice, or to deliver sudden, clear knowings. Clients often say something like "this just popped in my head," and that is exactly it. What you end up with is an open line of communication and clear spiritual guidance on the questions you brought. Normal daily medication has not stopped my clients from going into hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural brainwave state your mind already visits every day, and people arrive at sessions on all kinds of prescriptions and still go deep. You keep taking whatever you are prescribed exactly as you normally do. On the rare occasion that a session is interrupted or does not get going the way we want, my policy is simply to stop and reschedule another session at no extra charge, so there is nothing to lose by giving it a try.
