Yes, in my experience an online session over Zoom is every bit as deep as one done in person. Once you take a deep breath and close your eyes, all you need is my voice to navigate your subconscious, and my voice comes through your earbuds just the same. Being at home actually helps. You are in your own comfort, safety and privacy, and my clients typically relax more deeply there than they would in an unfamiliar room. You also skip the commute and the traffic before and after what can be a profound emotional experience, so you can rest and let it settle. Every session I facilitate is online over Zoom.

Yes, a headset, headphones or earbuds with a microphone close to your mouth is a firm requirement for every session. Laptops, tablets and phones all have built in microphones, but they sit too far from your face to pick up soft speech. When you go into a deep hypnotic state your vocal cords relax, and you naturally speak very softly or even whisper. A close microphone means I can hear you clearly and guide you in real time, and it means your voice is captured loudly and clearly on the recording you receive afterward.

You do not have to relive a painful memory to heal from it. If a distressing scene comes up under hypnosis, I have you step out of that body right away and watch as an objective observer. It is a lot like watching a movie on a screen. From that safe, detached distance you can pick up the soul lesson the scene is holding and release the energy that was stuck there, without going through the pain again. You stay aware the whole time, you can speak to me at any point, and you are in the driver's seat. Clients often tell me the scene they were most afraid of turned out to be the one that helped them most.

Difficult family relationships often go back to a plan your soul made before you were born. Our souls arrange family connections ahead of time, and they often set up challenging scenarios on purpose so we can learn something crucial like forgiveness, boundaries or self worth. A soul that needs to learn forgiveness, for example, may ask a close member of its own soul group to play the antagonist or the mean one in this life. That is a big favor to ask, and it is usually done out of love. Your Higher Self and your guides are deeply committed to your soul's development, and that means they will not cheat on your soul's test. Revealing your exact future or solving a hard lesson for you would rob you of the growth you came here for. When this happens in a session I pivot. I ask what steps you can take to learn the lesson yourself, and the guides typically offer helpful breadcrumbs while preserving your growth. My clients often find that the reframed question brings a richer answer than the original one would have.

If you carry memories of dying as a soldier, say a Civil War sergeant, you are in familiar territory for me. Clients with spontaneous recall of historic battles often carry residual physical and emotional weight from that death into this life, things like phantom neck or back pain. In hypnosis I use release techniques to separate that battlefield energy from your modern body. Reviewing the event from an observer's perspective helps your subconscious take in that the war is over and that you are safe in your current body today. Many people find the fear and tension they carried eases once that message lands. The memory stays, but its grip loosens.
