Yes, a headset, headphones or earbuds with a microphone close to your mouth is a firm requirement for every session. Laptops, tablets and phones all have built in microphones, but they sit too far from your face to pick up soft speech. When you go into a deep hypnotic state your vocal cords relax, and you naturally speak very softly or even whisper. A close microphone means I can hear you clearly and guide you in real time, and it means your voice is captured loudly and clearly on the recording you receive afterward.

Feeling like you are making it up is incredibly common, and it happens because your subconscious uses your creative imagination to translate memories into words. So my instruction is simple. If it feels like you are making it up, keep making it up and go with the flow without stopping to analyze it. Analyzing is what pulls you out. After the session we look at the experience together, objectively. Genuine hypnotic recall carries an emotional depth and physical responses, tears for instance, that the conscious mind cannot easily force or fake. Clients often realize in that debrief that what felt like imagination in the moment came with feelings they had no way to manufacture on purpose.

Yes. Losing a spouse, partner or close friend can be devastating, and in my framework these deep connections are often guided by agreements made before birth. In my experience partners frequently agree to come into a life together and even choose who will leave first, so that the loss becomes a catalyst for the other person's spiritual growth. Intuitive downloads can come from within, and in my experience they are often messages sent straight to you by your Higher Self or your spirit guides. The message is usually getting through just fine. What tends to get in the way is our own analytical doubt, that habit of second guessing what we receive instead of trusting it. So at the end of your session I teach you self hypnosis techniques you can use at home. You learn to settle into a relaxed state, go to a special place we set up during the session, and connect there with your guidance. Many of my clients find that with a little practice they start to communicate and receive clear signs on their own, and they come to recognize the intuitive talents they already had.

Forgiveness in this work means taking your own power back, and it has nothing to do with saying what someone did was acceptable. Refusing to forgive is like drinking a glass of poison and waiting for the other person to die. It only harms you. Forgiveness of self can create powerful healing as well. Forgiving another person, or yourself, while you are in a deep hypnotic state is a different experience from trying to do it with your everyday mind, because the analytical mind is out of the way. What my clients typically report is that trapped emotions like anger and hate finally have somewhere to go, and what replaces them feels like peace and compassion. In my experience that release is one of the most healing things that happens in a session. I never tell somebody they have to forgive. I give you the opportunity, and if you feel it, if you mean it, if it is authentic, then we find a way to express it in the session, while you are in hypnosis, not to their face. If you just say it because I told you to and you do not mean it, it does not mean a thing.
