Yes, you can set a clear intention before we go into hypnosis to visit a specific period, culture or civilization, whether that is ancient Rome, Egypt or a Mayan lifetime. I will say that your soul, or Higher Self, ultimately chooses the past life that holds the most important lesson for your growth right now, and that may or may not match what your logical mind is curious about. Even so, a strong intention set during our pre talk acts like a compass. In my experience it often guides your subconscious straight to the lifetime you have been drawn to. So bring the request. We will state it clearly and then let your Higher Self lead.

Yes, soul family shows up in sessions all the time. We travel and incarnate with a soul group over many lifetimes so we can work through lessons together. The people closest to you today, a partner, a sibling, a parent, a close friend, were very often with you in earlier lives, though their bodies, genders and cultures may have been entirely different. During the review in a Past Life Regression or a Life Between Lives session, I help you connect the patterns, recognizing who your present day companions were in those past scenes and what shared agreements or karmic lessons you are working out together now. Yes. In my experience past lives are not limited to Earth or to human form. I have had clients regress to lifetimes on other planets. One recalled a world with two blue suns in the sky, blue skin and exceptionally long hands and fingers. I have also guided clients through lifetimes as other species, including one who experienced being an S shaped fish with no eyes and no way to speak. In these off planet or non human lifetimes the soul is going through unique experiences designed for accelerated growth before it chooses to incarnate on Earth. If your session takes you somewhere unexpected, let it. Those are often the lifetimes with the most to teach you.

Those fast flashes are what some of my clients call fleeting images, so I use that term as well, and I can slow them down. Some of my clients are not especially visual, so a past life memory arrives as a quick scene that appears and vanishes, almost like a slide show. When that happens I use specific hypnotic suggestions that ask your subconscious to let the images settle and hold still long enough to look at. I also shift your attention away from your inner vision and toward what you feel in your body and your emotions, because those channels tend to be steadier.
