Feeling like you are making it up is incredibly common, and it happens because your subconscious uses your creative imagination to translate memories into words. So my instruction is simple. If it feels like you are making it up, keep making it up and go with the flow without stopping to analyze it. Analyzing is what pulls you out. After the session we look at the experience together, objectively. Genuine hypnotic recall carries an emotional depth and physical responses, tears for instance, that the conscious mind cannot easily force or fake. Clients often realize in that debrief that what felt like imagination in the moment came with feelings they had no way to manufacture on purpose.

Your soul is a large, advanced energy field, and the human body can only hold a small part of that intensity. So when you are in the womb, typically somewhere between three and six months of pregnancy, only a small percentage of your soul's energy connects with the developing body to form your human personality. The rest stays in the non physical realm as your Higher Self, watching over you with a broad, protective perspective for your whole lifetime. That is why, in my framework, you can reach your Higher Self so readily in hypnosis. It is the larger part of you, and it has been there all along, before the body and beyond it.

You need a computer, a solid internet connection, a webcam and a headset. A laptop or desktop is much better than a tablet or phone, and it needs to be plugged directly into power so nothing shuts off in the middle of a four to five hour session. High speed internet keeps the connection steady. Position your webcam so I can see your face and upper torso, because I watch your breathing throughout the session. The most important piece is a headset, headphones or earbuds with a microphone close to your mouth. Your voice gets soft and relaxed in trance, and that close microphone is what lets me hear you clearly and record the session for you.

Feeling stuck or disjointed during a spiritual awakening usually means your old identity is shifting and you are starting to perceive reality beyond the physical, and the ground moves under you for a while. Those fast flashes are what some of my clients call fleeting images, so I use that term as well, and I can slow them down. Some of my clients are not especially visual, so a past life memory arrives as a quick scene that appears and vanishes, almost like a slide show. When that happens I use specific hypnotic suggestions that ask your subconscious to let the images settle and hold still long enough to look at. I also shift your attention away from your inner vision and toward what you feel in your body and your emotions, because those channels tend to be steadier. What typically happens is the scene stabilizes, and once it holds we can gather rich, detailed information from it just as we would from a vivid picture.
